It has countless innovative features such as a steel frame that gives the chassis stability. The rigidity improves off-road handling. In combination with the sophisticated wheel suspension, you can conquer technically demanding terrain with ease.
The shape of the robust underbody, combined with the fenders integrated in the body, prevents dirt and debris from penetrating.
Cable guides inside the vehicle ensure clean cabling and a neat look.
The oil-filled GTS aluminum shock absorbers were specially developed for the TRX-4. They also ensure smooth handling in the roughest off-road conditions.
Thanks to the 5mm thick steel tie rods and the reinforced plastic pans with integrated hollow steel balls, you will never fail with a broken suspension off-road.
The Dual Fit battery holder guarantees easy changing of the batteries without cotter pins that could possibly get lost in the field. The hinged fastening lever can be adjusted to two different heights by turning it. A recess integrated in the battery compartment allows smaller batteries to be fixed.
Thanks to its innovative portal axles, the TRX-4 achieves more ground clearance than other vehicles. The wheels are positioned lower by a gear reduction at the extreme point.

The off-road genius has remote controllable locking differentials. You don't have to convert parts first. You can lock the front and rear axles with a lever on your remote control. The gear ratio can also be controlled remotely - depending on the surface on which the Defender is currently moving.

TSM -Traxxas Stability Management
This innovative steering aid makes it easier to control the vehicle on slippery and uneven roads and corrects the line. The multifunction button of the TQi remote control can be used to continuously regulate how much the TSM intervenes in driving behavior, whereby not the gas position but only the steering movement is influenced.

TQi 4 Channel Remote Control
With the advanced Ready-to-Race remote control, you don't need to set any channels or frequencies. The ergonomic design is very appealing due to the integrated and therefore protected antenna. The TQi is light and feels good in the hand.

The automatic model selection recognizes up to 30 models without having to save them first. As soon as you switch on the transmitter, the model and the associated settings are loaded.
Steering and throttle endpoint can be precisely adjusted. The multifunction button can be used to regulate the TSM, steering sensitivity (Expo), throttle sensitivity (Expo), steering in percentage (Dual Rate), brake force in percentage (Dual Rate) or throttle trimmed.

The separately available wireless module turns your Android®, iPad®, iPhone® or iPod Touch® into a tuning tool for your Traxxas model. Download the Traxxas Link app on Google Play® or the App Store® and you can use your color display to optimize your Traxxas model with a colourful, visually appealing user interface.

Waterproof electronics and Titan 550 engine
The Titan 550 is the largest engine for crawler monster trucks. Thanks to the built-in cooler, it ensures uninterrupted driving pleasure even on rough terrain. The waterproof XL-5 HV controller offers 5 driving profiles and is easy to operate with the EZ-Set with just one button. In addition to the already known driving modes SPORT/RACING/TRAINING, there are now 2 new driving profiles especially for crawlers.

The sealed electronics allow driving through water, mud and snow for unlimited driving pleasure.

The exclusively patented training mode limits the power to 50% and is therefore ideal for young drivers or beginners.
